I don't really have a concrete reason for naming this thing the way I have except that it feels like everything I work on or ponder now has this "In theory I will..." feel to it.
I'm speaking mostly about trying to become a teacher, of course, which has lately been consuming my life. In a good way. I don't have much practice in the field, but boy have I been dealing with theory a whole lot.
In theory, I will be this kind of teacher...
In theory, I will use that kind classroom management system...
In theory, I will graduate next winter, teaching license in hand, and jobs available...
In theory, there won't be any jobs and I'll have to substitute while I go to grad school...
In theory, I'll keep this blog updated with things I find interesting. Someone might even read it!
In practice, who knows? I'm going to go get some lunch now.
